Print Artwork Guide: Prepare Your Files

This print artwork guide helps you prepare files for a clean, professional finish. If you’re unsure about your file, contact TITEH Print before submitting—we can help with checking, adjustments, and design preparation.

File Formats

PDF is preferred for print-ready artwork. We also accept AI, EPS, SVG, PSD, JPG, and PNG for review, depending on the product and production method.

Embed fonts in your PDF or convert text to outlines. Include linked images when submitting editable files. Laser cutting requires suitable vector paths; 3D printing requires a compatible 3D model.

Image Quality & Resolution

For business cards, flyers, and other close-viewed prints, aim for 300 PPI at the final print size. Large-format artwork may use a lower resolution depending on its size and viewing distance—confirm the requirements with our team.

Use original images whenever possible. Increasing the resolution setting alone will not restore detail to a blurry image.

Colour Preparation

Prepare CMYK artwork where required for your printing method. Colours displayed on screens may differ from printed colours because of the material, finish, and production process.

For colour-sensitive projects, ask about a printed sample before approving the full order.

Bleed, Trim & Safe Margins

Trim is the finished cutting edge. Bleed extends your background beyond that edge to help prevent unwanted white borders. Safe margins keep important content away from the cutting area.

Keep text and logos at least 5 mm inside the trim edge for business cards and 10 mm for other printed layouts, unless we provide a product-specific template. Confirm the required bleed with our team; it is commonly 3 mm per side for small-format printing.

Books & Magazines

Submit a PDF with individual pages in reading order, rather than facing-page spreads. Include all intentional blank pages.

Allow extra space at the binding edge. Confirm the inner margin, cover layout, spine width, and page-count requirements before exporting. If we request covers separately, submit them as separate files following our instructions.

Special Finishes & Cutting

For foil, spot UV, embossing, or custom cutting, contact us before preparing the final file. These processes may require separate layers, vector paths, or dedicated artwork files.

Final Artwork Approval

Before approval, check spelling, names, contact details, QR codes, dimensions, page order, and front/back orientation.

Production begins after artwork approval and payment confirmation. Changes requested afterward may affect the price and completion time.

Sending Your Files

Send the original file together with your required size, quantity, material preferences, and deadline. If your file cannot be uploaded, contact us to arrange another transfer method.

Need help? We can check your artwork and quote for any necessary adjustments or design work before production.
